I like what the scale says, but sometimes I wonder if it's right. How can it be exactly .2 two days in a row. Hmmm...need to check the day before that. I lost a pound in one day. That seems to be a lot since my calories were higher over the weekend and I ate so late last night. Didn't sleep good at all last night. Woke up a few times and got out of bed a couple of times. Ah, I am hitting the pillows at 8:30 toinight. LOL.

At times increasing your calorie intake can get the metabolism on full speed ahead so I wouldn't worry if your scale is the same even though your weekend felt like you were not a success it seems that you were fine ..Yay!...I always measure daily and weigh usually once a week, the nursing scales at where I work are balanced daily we have several there and not one of the scales reads the same. I hope you get your rest tonight have a pleasant day:)

Our bodies work in strange ways. I know people who stayed the same for a couple weeks, went out and age a big meal and dropped weight the next day. I know people who have stayed with in their calories and went out and had a meal and gained. Sodium and many other factors come in to play. When you see quick drops up and down, it's usually our water weight being effected by something. Lack of sleep can also effect the scale. I wouldn't worry too much about small ups and downs. Its normal. Google "why the scale lies" for insight.

I'm a chronic scale watcher (bad, I know) and I've noticed quite a variance from day to day--both up and down. That's probably why a lot of people recommend weighing once a week at the same time of day, etc. If the scale is trending down over time, that's what you're looking for. I've also noticed I tend to lose inches before the scale goes down. I can tell by the way my clothes fit that I'm on the right track, too. I know it's hard, but I try not to focus too much on what the scale says from day to day.
