Spent the day at my Dad's - made big lunch for everyone - homemade pizza, green salad and fruit salad - managed to hold my own...
Company is driving my crazy with no end in sight. Hubby away for 5 days at sea. Bought a new bathing suit for motivation (not sure when I will dare to wear it in public)
Going to try to go to gym 5 days this week.
Sons bike was stolen from his friends driveway on Saturday. Reported it to police and they found it on Sunday - a high school kid stole it - no remorse - parents were worse - I did not press charges since I got the bike back and the kid who had it said another kid took it. Police said they would follow up anyway. When I told my son (he's 11) to say thankyou to the deputy the Mom of the kid who had the bike misunderstood and said "he don't have to thank me..." I turned to her and said, "Seriously? Why would my son thank you? You're not accepting any responsibility for this and your son was in possesion of a stolen bike? I want him to thank the deputy for getting it back!" She just giggled... Honestly...
Deputy was a total rock star! Luckily my son's bike was orange so it stood out - but seriously a high school kid stealing a kids 20" bike... What is the world coming to.....
