Thanksgiving was fun, we stayed in Wisconsin instead of driving back for family things in Iowa. My first time cooking a whole Thanksgiving meal and I must say I rocked it! The turkey was juicy, I made everything from scratch so I could control salt, etc. And it was great, everything was great. We just sat on the couch watching football and chowing down. Leftovers for days because I just couldn't decide what I wanted to make so I made everything I could think of!!!
So then Friday comes, and so do my in-laws. Which, yes, we had a really great time but we ate out every single meal for 2 days. Welcome, 4lb gain...wompwomp....regardless, we had a good time. We explored Milwaukee, took a Christmas light tour, did a lot of shopping, went to a Christmas Germanfest. I'll take the memories and that 4lb gain, no problem :)
So back to the grind, as they say...Happy Tuesday, friends!
