Hope everyone is having a good day =)

To help with finances while we are dealing with this property stuff I went back to work. I opted for Floral this time (last time I went back to work it was in Cash Accountability(accounting) which has a lot of pressure and room for serious mistakes compared to putting together an arrangement of candy &/or flowers =p ). Normally I'll be working on weekends but had an 8hr shift today since my husband was off today. I probably would have been going back soon regardless since I want to make sure I work for 6 months or so every couple to few years just to stay current in the job market. With the boys medical and special needs staying home is the best choice for our family for them. However if, God Forbid, something happened to my husband it will be much easier to re-enter the job market as the full time provider if I'm only ever gone from it for 2 or 3 years at a time. Rather then a decade or more I've talked to some women trying to overcome. Last time I went back because I was asked to come back because there had been some issues in the department and they needed someone trustworthy and reliable while they figured them out. I stayed for about 4 months but was working 40+ hours a week and then phased out working less and less over the next couple months. This time we nneded me to come back for financial reasons, but that also afforded me the choice of where I was going, rather then being needed for a specific job. It also means we get to puck my availability so we can make this easier on our family then it was last time. Especially important since now we have an elementary student and preschooler homeschooling (compared to a baby and almost 4 year old last time).

Today at work was good, floral use to be one of the departments under my position when I was in fulltime management at the store and I always enjoyed working the department. Ivretained more of the 'know how' then I expected after 7 years out of the department and the rest won't be hard to pick up as I go around. Beong cpnstantly on your feet on those floors, even with mats is rough- but I have pretty decent shoes and it's not too bad. I think it's going to ne a much smoother experience then it was last time and a much less draining job title to be in, so that's good =)

Hope everyone has a nice evening!

I don't usually read any posts and don't know why I read yours, but I'm very glad I did because I rarely "bump" into folks like you. You are a very intelligent, street-wise, practical and far-sighted individual! I'm positive that, God forbid, something should happen to your husband that you would not only survive but would thrive! It's been a pleasure!!
