Yes. 3 weeks in and 12 lbs down! It’s hard but it’s easy! Just gotta stay in ketosis. No cheat days or even cheat bites!!

Yes, I've lost almost 100 pounds on Keto. I've been on it about 18 months. It works because the fat keeps you so satisfied that its much easier to automatically eat at a calorie deficit. Also after you are fat adapted its very easy to go hours without eating (fasting) and without being hungry because your body just burns your body fat as a fuel source. I personally think its very important to eat lots of low carb vegetables and greens daily for the fiber & vitamins. Finally, Keto absolutely changed you and when done properly and consistently gets rid of SO MANY cravings it's crazy. Its SO freaking delicious too! 😊 Have fun! It's pretty easy to eat Keto at restaurants.

Yes, started Keto May 7th and down 26lbs. It takes a while to unlearn the day equals far mindset we've been trained to believe. Find a Keto calculator to determine your Macros for you weight and activity level and jump in.

I'm so glad there are Keto people here. I think this will be easier than all the point keeping. I found a keto creamer so I can still have my coffee!

Yes and it is absolutely not necessary in my opinion. If you are busy do some intermittent fasting, and eat moderately healthy and you will lose weight. If you have a specific body image, then the diet require further macros fine-tunning. Keto will work as well if you are curious but so will other diets. That being said, try it and see how you feel on it.

I started Keto in January. I went off the diet for a few weeks and am back on it again, But before I was off the diet i had lost 37 pounds and inches galore. This diet is amazing. As others have mentioned make sure you keep your electrolytes up and drink plenty of water. One way to help keep electrolytes up is by using pink himilayan sea salt when you cook. Also you can look for electrolyte infused water and that will help with the "keto flu" But good luck and if you have any questions feel free to reach out to me as I am still learning, but also have done a ton of research about Keto and the benefits.

you don't need special coffee's, regular is just fine. heavy whipping cream is no carb too and you can get it at your local store. that is one of the joys of the diet you don't need fancy additives just regular foods. Make sure you log everything you are eating and keep track of your levels. balance of your fat protein and carbs needed for the day. I never had the keto flu, but I have been a lower carb lifestyle for a long time so it was not a big change. But I totally agree on the electrolites and lots and lots of water. it helps to flush the fats and toxins out.

If you find down the track it doesn't work for you, then always remember this much, to keep a lid on your appetite, just keep your carbs around 100-150. The difficulty with the keto diet long term is lack of variety. That was why i couldn't last at it. But i was only doing it as an experiment. The good thing about low carb diets is that they help diminish your appetite.

I may have had a LITTLE success - take a glance at my history, what I've eaten, exercise, journals, et al... and feel free to ask questions.
