Lunch today! Someone here suggested making a sub salad and it is delicious! 2 c shredded lettuce, ham, salami, provolone cheese, black olives, a few banana peppers...dressing is 2 T mayo, 2 T red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. So good!

I'm just beginning to appreciate the food I was missing doing low-carb/low-fat! For me, it's Greek salad, but this "antipasto" looks good, too!

@momma6224, Hope all is well with you lately....Fun at the gym is still continuing I'm sure..... Like the deconstructed sub sandwich concept. Looks great, but I must say (without offending), please be careful of salami. This is one of my biggest things I love to eat, and after much research I found it to be somewhat detrimental to my healthy eating plans. Not conducive to losing weight. It has higher fats/sodium and more which can sabotage your meal plans. Just use caution as you know, or perhaps find an alternate such as turkey (cracked pepper flavor or other flavor), chicken, or leanest of steak (ribeye shaved), flank steak, or something. Proud of your success, you've really become quite an influence with persons. :D Amazing Work ! Stair Climber, battle ropes, pull ups ?

Thanks wright! I buy a natural uncured salami with no nitrates or preservatives. Eating low carb high fat makes the extra fat and sodium less of a problem. I don’t eat very much of it and it hasn’t caused me any trouble weight loss wise but I’ll keep your warning in mind!
