Between Valentines day and my really bad cheat day where I ate almost a whole medium pizza to myself and had a ton of drinks, I'm not surprised I didn't lose. No more cheat days, just a "cheat meal". I really want alcohol though >=[.

Yay!
Okay, maybe I can let myself eat a little more than 1200 calories a day. For someone my size 5lbs in a week is a little extreme. I'm not complaining but I'm not sure I have been giving myself proper nutrition. I think I am going to amp it up to 1400 for this week and see what kind of results I get.

So I've gained 3.5 pounds since my last weigh in rather than lost. I've always been the type of person who can eat pretty bad and not gain too much weight. I guess my body is just changing or something. I can't imagine that not smoking accounts for that much. Maybe I really have been snacking more without realizing it. I'm really going to religiously track what I eat now like I used to. No alcohol whatsoever for at least a month. It is so strange too, when I look in my mirror at home I don't feel big, when I look in the mirror at work (which is a full size mirror across the entire wall) I don't feel big. I went shopping yesterday, I felt so disgusted by myself in the mirrors in the dressing rooms. I couldn't even fit into a size 3, I didn't even try beyond that so who know if a size 5 fit. I just wanted to leave. I got measured at Victoria's Secret and went from a D to a DDD. Wtf? I, personally, don't think bigger is better. I hate it. I felt really good about that area of my body before. I just hope it goes away with the weight loss because the first time I gained weight I went from like a B to a D and stayed there. THAT time it was good. This is too much.

o I finally started working out. I've always just gone the diet route but I really want to look good and toned. The problem is that since I started, the scale has gone UP. It isn't just the scale though, I FEEL bigger. Bloated. Gross. I found some articles on gaining while working out and found that it is mostly due to water weight from your muscles repairing themselves. I was up one pound after a week. Then, the next morning, down 2.5 pounds. Today up 1 pound. I'm also PMSing so the water weight theory makes sense. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe I should just not weigh myself at all for a week. I know you really aren't supposed to weigh yourself more than that anyways..... I'm just stressing hard. Between the holidays, me quitting smoking and this water weight, I'm about 4 pounds heavier than I've been for years. Which I know, is not that bad, AT ALL. Most people gain between 5 - 10 pounds when they quit smoking, between 5-10 during the holidays, between 2-4 after working out and between 2-4 when PMSing. In theory then I should be a hell of a lot heavier right now lol.
