moko 13's Journal, 24 January 2023

Yesterday’s higher protein intake already paying off? 😜My carbs were a bit cray cray but will find a way to balance it this week with more veg. I have been riding this 1200-1300 calorie wave for awhile with very meager results but probably should have paid more attention to my macros.

Yes try to balance your macros. You may need to take your calories up a bit to make your body work to lose. My opinion only - The 1200-1300 would be good to lose at 160 weight then you could drop to 1200 at 140. For me, If I didn't eat enough calories my body held the weight.

What is a good macros to be at? I'm at 10% carb, 70% fat and 20% protein....

Thank you lessfluffy! Definitely decided I needed to mess around with some stuff to see why things are so stagnant. So far it’s going well!

Dreamhandler, I guess everyone is different. I’m a type 2 diabetic but have been trying for a higher protein count because i have been as low as 10% of my daily intake. I have just accepted it until this point but I want to get closer to 100-150g of protein a day to shake things up. I usually rally around 35-40g which is kind of pitiful.

Thanks Moto. My protein is 40-55, or 20% intake for the day. Been keeping carbs between 20-50... calories around 2400. The last two days, been fasting with only 1 dinner meal at 5pm. Calories 1000, carbs 17-25 and protein still at 20% daily total, or around 45.
