So this has been a learning week. My 4 year old grand daughter has been visiting this week. After 4 weeks of pretty good discipline and very satisfying weight loss, I felt no guilt in taking a couple of days off and enjoying eating with her. She is incredibly picky and eats horribly for the most part. I ate at Dairy Queen one day and McDonalds another.(I have always disliked McD's) Both meals were pretty similar except at McD's I had a mocha frappe.❤❤ The meal at DQ was about 1100 cals. About the same as my whole day cal intake for the past month! The meal at McD's was almost 2000 cals! I was hungry again in an hour or so as well! The morning after DQ I had stayed the same weight instead of the consistent loss i had been seeing. I was happy with that and decided it was worth it. The morning after McD's I had gained almost 3 pounds! In addition, my gut didn't like either meal!(I will spare you the nasty details) My energy level was down and I just wanted to keep eating. It is absolutely astonishing that I used to think nothing of downing that amount of calories and junk food at every chance I had. That's not even thinking about the snacks and I used to drink several litres of Pepsi or Mt Dew every single day! I have watched carbs before. This is the first time I have ever counted calories. this app has helped enormously. Who wants to read the labels and get out the calculator and do all that counting?! FS does it for me and I love it. Anyways, this week with my grand daughter has certainly opened my eyes to how bad a shape I had been in and how much change I have made in the last month! I feel satisfied, full and energetic eating lots less of the right food! And also the fact that fast food has little to no nutritional value! Lesson learned!😁
323.4 lb Lost so far: 24.6 lb.    Still to go: 23.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
