I write my answer here because i do not feel ok to answer in another member's post. I have no account at any kind of social media like Facebook etc. Also i am not fluent in English. Please do yourself a research about the pros and cons of each bariatric method and their prerequisites to succeed a permanent weight loss and what you must live with the day next to the surgery. I can assure you that gastric sleeve is not for persons that like to eat foods that highly dense in calories such as candies. Also it is critical to see if the doctor is doing other surgeries than gastric sleeve and if in fact he has done any. Take a look at his bio. Get opinions from other doctors too. Lots of sleeve success stories but also lots of failures losing weight and or maintaining followed by bypasses. Take your time. Internet is full of all kind of information about this. Wishing you to lose all your extra weight once for all and reverse your T2. It can be done. Lots have done it. Your turn now. Good luck.

I have been thinking about doing the surgery for several years now. Just always thought I could fix it! Obviously I have not.🙄 My Dr is Tin Tran in Danville, Ky. He is very highly regarded and has performed lots of bariatric surgeries of all types. I checked him out and he comes highly recommended. My girlfriend is a travel nurse and she knows 2 nurses who came to him and were very succesful. She is also going to be very supportive and help me thru everything. I am well aware of the diet. Its brutal! I'm also aware that for several weeks after the surgery it will be all liquids. I am NOT looking forward to that. I look at it this way. I got my self into this mess... now I need to pay the piper to get my self out of it.
