If you can, try not to be downhearted. I've been weighing myself every day and what I've noticed is that depending on which day of the week I took, a weekly weigh in could make it look like I'd lost 4lbs or no weight at all. But the average is consistently 2lbs a week. All the fluctuations are just water and digestive system stuff. Don't change what you are doing based on one wonky weigh-in! How are your clothes feeling?

Thanks JanusWoman, more determined if anything. Cloths are fitting better and definitely seeing results in the mirror just wasn't expecting that this morning. Like doing a hard days work and getting paid £1 at the end of the day. Thanks for the support💪

Hi, Sf-42's, I don't understand weight either. I'm trying to get rid of a tummy. But being 62 and after menopause, it's very hard. Still, I plod on. Just maybe 1500 calories might be a little too high. Try 1200 calories. Best of luck Merrymel.

I'm not bright. but that being said overall trends are better than daily. now I weigh daily. just for craps and giggles. also when i start something new my body freaks and goes into survival mode trying to keep every calorie it gets. eventually it leaves. takes time. plus with muscle soreness comes water retention. all things I've learned here. from others.

Hi merry mel, already had dropping it a little more in my head. Not to blame the app but target set was 2400 for my height weight activities, so thought I would of been good with 1500 lack of knowledge on my part. Thanks for advice/support It all helps.

So it was a poor week! You know it wasn’t anything you did that was naughty. It’s your wonderful body doing it’s own thing. Don’t break. Stick at it your body will catch up on your efforts. Mine always does too. Good luck!

Thanks all. Yep the body does some strange things. When you feel you have been really good and worked hard then the scales on your weekly weigh in just laughed at you😳 I will win this week!

Consider factors other than weight. Have you lost inches, or are feeling healthier, have built muscle? It's all progress 🙂

Yes to all angbane. Thanks, Wasn't taking measurements untill yesterday but was taking photos every 3rd week due latest photo next Monday. But can see big progress on stomach and chest. My legs and arm areare showing a little more muscle, even though I'm not doing this for that just want to feel fitter which I do and get rid of the belly. I did used to like a drink so that has helped not touched a drop since 1st of September this year.
