I don’t know what to say. I don’t know how this is even possible. Maybe my scale is broken? Maybe it’s water retention? Idk, but 5 days ago I was weighing in at 207.8. How could I have “gained” 8 pounds within a 5-6 day span? This is why I always give up. This is why I get discouraged. This is why I get depressed about my body and start to hate the way I look. Yo-yo-ing like this blows my mind! If working out and eating right are making me GAIN more weight than I ever have before than it obviously doesn’t work for me!!!
215.0 lb Lost so far: 18.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Don’t feel down. You will always have a weight gain. Water is one reason. Just keep track of your foods, and see what might be your culprit. Maybe too much in carbs, or too much in protein. We all have a different effect on the foods we consume.

I looked at your journal ~ your diet is close to mine. It has to be water, but I am not sure? Hopefully someone better versed will be able to help you. I think you are doing great, don't give up ... it will happen. I went 6 weeks without a loss.

Hang in there! It's hard, but you know what you've eaten...keep building on your hard work, and in a few days you will lose again. I yo-yo a few pounds, then, if I stick to my plan no matter what. the scales eventually balance out to a loss. Stick with it and yours will too!!
