This was a particularly challenging time in my journey because I have slid back a little in my strictness of calorie counting. I really need something to help motivate me to get back on track. My spirit is willing and I know that the body is able. My mind however is needing spiritual strength to make it through this weight loss journey. Thank God for his grace and mercy to make me remember the covenant that I made between us about my weight loss. I will just have to pray my way back to the front of the wagon and get myself back to a better state of mind.

You can do this. I think each of us has our own motivation and not sure where it comes from. Sometimes it just feels like a 'switch' that has flipped in my head. Then I am in the 'game' and armed and ready. Here is a quote that I keep on my phone "Discipline is just choosing between what you want NOW and what you want MOST." I have to remind myself of that and like to look at it everyday. I also remind myself that I will make the choices that are good for me and take care of me so I can feel better. You can do this.

You can do this. Make YOU a priority in your day to find yourself healthy alternatives to whatever you're eating right now that isn't giving you the all around nourishment you need in your mind, body & spirit. You joined here for a reason ~ revisit that and what triggered you to want to lose weight. We're here to listen and support you.
