Well..... penance time. ☺. I'm thankful that fluctuations are not something to be upset about. I sat down and figured out that since I started 185 days ago, I've lost 64.2 lbs. That is an average of 0.347 lbs a day! or 10.7 lbs a month. At that rate I should be at the upper end of my goal weight range by July 1st 2018. Which I have proven over the last 6 months to be completely, comfortably do-able!
My resolution for 2018 is to be in the here and now. To not worry so much about the would have / could have / should haves of life. I am committing myself to making the best possible decisions available at that particular moment in time - every time!
This WOE works for me and is now my life. My previous choices got me DM2, joint pain, depression, embarrassment, guilt......I deserve better than that. I'm choosing better than that for myself for the rest of my life......every minute of every day!
Together we can all help each other succeed!

We celebrated my youngest's 18th bday yesterday - amazing how quickly they grow into loving and responsible adults! She is an awesome young lady - I am very proud of her.
I did decide to splurge on a small piece of birthday cake after an awesome low carb eating day.....I managed 3 bites before the queasies set in and I thought 'well, so much for that bright idea!'. Apparently, my color gave me away and my daughter scolded me.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!! Had our Christmas dinner at my sister's last night and I just about fell over when I got home! Not one mess up! I was able to walk away from the triple chocolate cake, apple crisp and cookies!!!!!! I did eat my planned three pieces of sugar free fudge and was quite content with that. My blood sugar was 87 before I left and 86 when I got home. I'm finally on a life long plan that is going to work for me.
I was a little disappointed that my blood sugar was 109 this morning - not sure why but I can live with it!

Good bye water - hopefully there was some fat in there too! I've been eating right but lose track of my protein some days!
