So, yesterday (sat) I came off a 47 hour fat fast that started out as an ' I don't want to have to think about food today' thing. I drank my coffee with a little heavy whipping cream all day. I was surprised I wasn't hungry at all and broke the fast with 5 ounces of pork ribs meat. Sun morning I woke up and didn't really want to stress so I ate some salami and some cheese and started a fast again. So far, I'm pretty happy with the clear head, lack of tummy grumbles and a feeling of a kind of sense of freedom. This isn't the stressful, gotta eat something ordeal I thought it would be. I thought I might eat some salad for dinner with my family but the desire just wasnt there. Of course breaking through the 270 mark with this strategy didn't hurt at all! My hip not giving me grief for the first time in a long while was just a sugar free cherry on top.

NSV - I looked in the mirror and saw a 'fat girl' semi flat tummy! You know the one where it's obvious you're overweight but you aren't as round and saggy as you were before!

I also saw my C-section scars for the first time EVER! My youngest turned 18 a week ago so that bad boy was hiding down there all these years. I had to fanagle to look but it didn't require superhuman yoga moves to see it - so I'm quite a happy Snappy today!

Hoping everyone else is experiencing the same peace I've had today and may your NSVs thrill your heart and light a fire to find the next one!!
