The second day into my diet is going well. I'm strictly adhering. I always do well Monday through Wed. Thursdays and Sat and Sun are my weakest days ever because I work outside the house on Thursdays and whenenver I'm not in my usual routine, it throws me way off, plus I hate cooking after working all day. I always want to go out to dinner, have a few drinks and EAT!!! There's the voice again. It tells me, EAT, you deserve it, you worked hard. I am trying to put the voice to the side. So we'll see how Thursday goes. As for yesterday and today, I usually work out M-W, but I've been lazy and/or busy. Hopefull tonight I will workout. I will somehow try to muster up the energy. I didn't slepp well last night, hubby was out snow plowing all night. Later!

You'll find your energy once you get to the gym. I always have to drag myself there but once I'm rockin out to my music I have plenty of energy.

Don't get down on yourself. You sound like you are figuring things out and it won't always be such a challenge. The fact that you recognize where your weaknesses lay is half the battle! Why do we always reward ourselves with food? And there just doesn't seem to be an equivalent alternative! Maybe it would help you if you froze some leftovers for days when you don't feel like cooking. Or, as I just did, make some soup and freeze it in meal sized batches. It goes great with a salad or sandwich, depending on how many POINTS you want to use. I have several kinds of soup in the freeze, actually, and they all have different POINTS per serving. So if I am running out of POINTS by supper time I can still have a nice bowl of 1 POINT turkey vegetable soup and a salad, fill myself up and stay on track. And sararay is right, the exercise does energize you and lifts your spirits. It is just the starting that is the chore. Good luck with your efforts.

I know, getting up the energy/motivation to get up off my butt and exercise is a challenge for me, but once I'm at the gym I'm golden! Do you have a buddy you can go with?
