2 lbs???
Anyone hav any idea how I gained two pounds yesterday while I ate only 32 g of carbs and I was 400 calories below target for the day?
Do you think salty wings combined with lots of water would do that?
I have held steady or gained 0.5 pound due to water but never 2 lbs.

Are you weighing yourself daily? The salt and water could possibly be causing water retention (which goes away with weight fluctuations). I know you said you typically fluctuate no more than 0.5 lbs, but for me 4 lb weight fluctuations is normal when I weigh myself daily. It must be water.

Yes I weigh everyday. I sort of got used to explaining gains or losses via what I ate. I was just shocked this morning as I never ahd a gain that high without a pig out or lots of carbs. or....if my scale moved, maybe my previous day was too low becasue of my scale...it is finicky. thanks..... but for sure I ate 4 really salty wings.

My scale is really finicky too. I'm trying to resist the urge to weigh daily because of my weight fluctuations and the scale itself, but I have been weighing daily as well. I stepped on and off my scale 4 times today (in a row!) and the weight went up and down 4 lbs! It's not very reliable, sadly, but I'm just using it as an estimate of my progress and round up to the highest recorded weight.
