I am not making excuses for myself, but I really didn't know I had put on so much weight until I got comfortable enough to take off some of my clothes for the summer! Let me explain, I have Vitiligo (the Michael Jackson condition) which is loss of pigment. Because I was so embarrassed about losing my skin color, I started covering myself with extra clothing so no one could see what I was going through. Now that I have become more comfortable with the condition and learned to cover the portions of my body that could be seen by the public with makeup, I started taking off some of the layers of clothing I was wearing. Wow! Was I shocked at what I was seeing.
So although I didn't do so well on Weight Watchers the first few weeks, November 1 was my day of reckoning and I decided to count my points to the letter!
