I've got to stop the upward creep! This hysterectomy and instant menopause has really thrown my body out of wack. I used to be able to eat well all week and then splurge on the weekend if I wanted to maintain. Now my weekend splurges don't go away no matter how well I do all week. Time to stop giving myself permission to eat badly on the weekends with parties and luncheons and other celebrations. I have to get serious. I have a trip to Costa Rica planned in June and I want feel good about how I look, as well as be in shape for the trekking around. One bit of good news- I have been working out 4-5 days per week so a small amount of that gain is muscle weight. But not enough of it is.
