So the last couple of days I've eaten the right foods but not in the right quantities. Kind of frustrated with myself because in addition to that I haven't done much besides clean house on top of eating poorly.

Went to the dentist and had 2 cavities filled. I've got tricky nerves so by the time the second round of novocain hit the whole left side of my face was numb from ears to halfway across my chin. Ended up biting my tongue twice before feeling returned - oweee!

Other than that its been a good day. Got to play with my monkey since I wasn't about to go back to work and drool everywhere. Took her and the pup to the dog park and let them both run like mad for an hour. They're so funny together. DD throws the ball, dog looks at her, DD runs for the ball, dog chases DD. *shrug* they both come back tired so its all good!

After that my friend came over and brought some wine with her. I haven't drank anything since...October? maybe before that even? So that combined with too much protein I'm sure tomorrow will show another dreaded red arrow. *sigh* could be worse. Could be close to TOM....oh wait, it is. LOL! At least I'll get it out of the way all at once. I'm thinking to drop back down closer to 25 NC instead of going up like I have been because since I've been aiming for 30-35 I haven't felt like I'm losing.

Anyway, after dying my hair tonight I'm feeling like I look better so I'll gussy up tomorrow and feel pretty regardless of the scale. I feel like a woman! Off to bed - I'm sure not sleeping right is a negative to the scale too.

Sounds like you have a combination of things that could cause you to be stressed and not losing....sister, dentist appointment,sleeping poorly, getting back in the Atkins groove and friends with good intentions! But you seem to have a plan of attack and I certainly believe that "gussying up" and putting on a pretty face does make us feel better. Have a wonderful day and please tell us more about your monkey....
