Because I've heard from many sources that there are good health benefits from fasting, (and weight loss) so, I've started doing it. I fast from 7pm to noon. It's not that easy, but I've noticed I feel somewhat better and have better mental clarity. And, it's liberating... I'm hoping my body will become accustomed to it and I won't be hungry during the fasting times. I want to stick it through, but I don't know if I'll be able to do so if there is a lingering hunger. Hope it goes away.

I naturally do a form of fasting, purely because I eat when I feel hungry, so I have late breakfast, skip lunch and then have dinner. I hope you find benefits from it. :)

It helps to drink water if you're hungry during the fast times. Hunger isn't an emergency, it's just a signal from your body.

There is an actual scientific explanation to why water helps with hunger. It's based on facts. Something to do with the Peptides... whatever that is! It's a bit hard, but maybe we're suppose to get very hungry before we eat? Our ancestors certainly didn't just dig into the fridge at the first hunger pang. So, it's probably gives beneficial results to eat only when very hungry. For some my stomach has shrunk and I fill up very easily. We shall see the results fast enought :)
