Well...The cares of this life got a hold of me last week and I ended up doing a nose dive/belly flop into my eating and exercise plan. Today is a new day! Planning a 70 hour IF, THEN I will step on the scale...
Have a great day everyone!

If you are thinking of Fasting at all have you considered a 5:2 regime? I found that worked quite well, before I retired. I ate fairly normally for 5 days then cut my intake to 500-600 calories for the last two days. It is supposed to have many health benefits over and above weight loss. Currently I try to keep my daily eating 16:8, but even when I do eat before 10am I still restrict the eating "window" to 8 hours. A 9am start means a 5pm finish.

I know exactly what you mean about life, Rreed. Baby steps back into your new and improved routine. There is no failure when one keeps trying. Hugs!

"There is no failure when one keeps trying." Now there's a nice sentiment. I'll remember that.

Thanks for the support! 24 hours into the fast - feeling great - Went to the fitness center and worked on getting my new routine down. Now I'm just going to read for an hour and then go to bed! (I have a strange schedule - get up 1t 1 a.m. most days and go to bed at 6 or 7 p.m. Don't have to open at my store tomorrow, so I can sleep in for an extra hour.) Thanks for the suggestion JockoT, but I actually enjoy fasting. I'm one of those all-or-nothing, seriously addictive personality types - so the fasting suits me.
