so every day after I eat a healthy lunch (low carb) and having had a decent breakfast and am snack and 2 cups coffee thru out the morning, I get my snack attack and have a horrible urge for something sweet. Does this happen to anyone else.. I mean I would sell my 1st born for a cookie.. its killing me.. Im drinking loads of water (the recommended amts) and eating good so Im annoyed that this is happening..

looks like you are doing great. 13 pounds down in last month. there are some low carb high fat mug cake or cookie recipes at sites like www.ibreatheimhungry.com and also http://alldayidreamaboutfood.com .

Eat some healthy fat... It kills the craving right away. Laughing Cow regular cheese works for me.

Or ricotta mixed with vanilla extract and stevia or Splenda? If your program lets you use sweeteners...

I just don't have any sweets but fruit and even then The low sugar ones. I seriously love a frozen banana, it feels like I'm eating something bad but it's good and you have to eat it slowly so it lasts

I have a ghiradelli square and log it and that feeling goes away.

Oh, and I don't do this every day or at the same time as I don't want to establish a habit. I only do it when that feeling won't go away!!!

I make low carb goodies all the time with erythritol and stevia. Soooo you not do that? :/

You know what? I don't worry about cheats, but maybe I can get away with it. I just feel real good with the diet right now. Skip some meals, watch what I eat. It's all good!

Not sure what type of diet you are doing but find something that you can have that may satisfy that craving and keep it handy for those moments. :)

Rockies, I LOVE blizzards.. omg.. I ended up eating 2 bananas.. the lesser of the two evils I guess. and I logged so boo.. LOL

I've read that caffeine can cause lowered blood sugar and increase sugar cravings, so I gave it up early on. I can barely function on occasional mornings, but for me the tradeoff is worth it. Lol

Everybody wants that crap. If you "earn your carbs" under the bar, you can get away with eating (a little) crap and lose fat faster.

Jimmie, can you elaborate on what you mean by earn your carbs under the bar ? Im intrigued .. I def lift enough to where I feel like im earning them but ......
