Went for a fantastic 8 mile hike this morning. I am so happy to have a friend who is game to go exploring the trails with me. We had planned on about 6 miles, but we agreed on a detour that added a couple miles and saw some really great views.
I felt like I could eat an entire pizza when we finally got done. I did have a nice pulled pork sandwich, but I found that was sufficient. I have not felt like eating everything in sight this afternoon. It helped that I was busy with errands and such, but even when I thought about grabbing some almonds or another snack, I didn't really need them and so I didn't eat them.
We are going out for Thai food tonight. I am thinking about spicy soup and some curry with veggies. Now, that sounds really good and I am wishing I didn't have to wait!
