I am signed up for the Hershey's 15K on Nov. 1st! I am excited to do it and hope the weather will not be too cold. This is 9 miles- longer than I've done before but since I have gone 7, 2 more shouldn't be too bad for race day. 2 weeks until the race!

I have had a great workout week, working out 5 days this week. I went for a nice 48 min run this morning. I'm not sure what the distance was, but probably somewhere around 4 miles. I could have gone longer but my w/o partner's knee was hurting. Thankfully my swollen foot is feeling better so I hope it stays ok. I am going to try not to buy new shoes before the race to not spend the money. It is money well spent on good shoes, but I am hoping mine will last a little longer. I don't think I am over the recommended mileage on them.

Eating needs to get a little more in check as I seem to be overeating at some meals. Overall it's pretty good though. The belly is feeling a little too chubby though so I know I am overdoing it some.

Wow, a 15k - thats great!! Have a great time, and I'll be hoping that its not to cold that day. At least it will smell wonderfully chocolatly in Hershey!!!

Awesome buddy. I think you'll great on the 15K, so remember to prep yourself (pre-run meals, proper rest, warm-ups, etc) well beforehand. I'll be rooting for ya.
