Holding steady, but going back to sugar free starting today. It's funny how easy it is to get back into the habit of eating badly and then craving bad things again. I had gotten to the point that I didn't crave sweets.

Oh well, live and learn. I lucked out and didn't gain any weight during the holidays (first time ever), but I decided today to join Weight Watchers and see about losing these last 30 pounds. My Thrive is still doing really well for me and I absolutely love what it does for me. I know it is the reason I didn't gain any on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

So..wish me luck. I'm probably gonna be grumpy again as I get these sugars out of my system. Ugh!!

Y'all have a great day!

Hi, could I just ask how you got to not craving sugar originally. I have a sweet tooth and am finding this part very hard.,thanks.

Well, I was a Root Beer FANATIC!!! It was really bad. I just bit the bullet and stopped cold turkey. I used sugar free flavored water to get me over that addiction. I also got sugar free cookies to help me with my sweet tooth. The little ones. Just one takes care of my cravings. I also eat red grapes when I want something sweet. It helps me to eat natural sugars instead of added sugar, since I am a diabetic. The first time I did this, I was grumpy for about 2 weeks, and then I didn't miss it any more. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. I bought some white grapes today which were nice and sweet so may have some of those each day as a sweet treat.

Those are really good ideas to help with sugar cravings! Oddly enough, I find that vinegar, mustard, hot peppers, citrus, or sparkling water helps but I'm not sure how it works for others.
