Congratulations 👏🎉 on the new baby 🍼. Did you have a girl or boy? You welcomed 🤗 a new life into the world focus on your recovery and health 💕. Good eating habits and moving more will naturally help you lose weight. for the first 3 to 4 months your hormones will make it more difficult to reduce your weight use this time to work on healthier eating habits better sleep hygiene reducing stress as much as life allows and working on the bond with the baby. like I said increasing your movement reducing poor eating habits and increasing better habits will naturally help you lose the weight has your body heals your hormone levels return to natural levels it will allow you to find better areas to work on to lose weight. How old is the baby 🐥?

If you can handle the mental stress of one more thing on your plate the Hands program through the health department will give you a gift card once per month for doing a 30-minute visit once a week they'll also give you a couple presents a year for the baby like diapers and a gift bag etc. you do a fun project every week which is an activity with the baby. It used to be for only first time mothers but now they do it up to the first three children it's a lot of fun! I understand that life is stressful and sometimes that people don't have the mental ability at this time to deal with one more issue in their lives, but sometimes those $10 gift cards can be one more thing of diapers. In addition if you have Medicaid and WellCare they offer an additional $10 a free diapers if you use that option by calling in and requesting it for free every month. W.I.C of course will give all mother's and babies some food and milk/formula free. There are also a few other resource options I can give you if you would like.
