I learned in Paris 30+ years ago that dark chocolate and coffee are amazing together. But meringue? Does the coffee make it extra special? Seems like it would. Sigh. Vicarious living. Looks yum

Meringue is good with coffee because you get the little pop of sweetness and also crunchiness texture. It’s made from egg white and sugar so one meringue cookie is 15 calories! I’ve found that it brings out other flavors in the coffee which is fun. ☕️ The Sprouts Grocery store near me sells them in their bakery and it’s a nice treat from time to time. ☺️ I’ve also been on a kick of adding cardamom and cinnamon to my coffee grounds after having Turkish coffee recently.

looks good, I wouldn't have the self control to eat those amounts. Thus, nothing sweet In the J.O.H. Deluxe Apartment in The Sky.

I find that if I allow myself small treats and take my time to savor them, I don’t binge eat since I’m not in food scarcity mindset. Plus I plan them out so it’s not an impulse if that makes sense. But to each their own - ultimately, you know yourself best. ❤️
