Starting this thing today. Hoping it works. I used to be an athlete but I now have 3 kids, a spouse, and work. I struggle to find time to workout and keep up with the house and the activites on a daily basis. My family eats crappy food because we are on a budget and always in a hurry. not fast food but cheap stuff - hamburger helper etc.. I need to loose 30 lbs to be happy with myself. My husband doesn't mind but I do. It really bothers me.

Oh my gosh! You sound like me!!!! I remember the days of being healthy by default... Now it is WORK. HATE IT. And we're broke, so you're right - it's cheaper to eat crap. Take baby steps in improving your meals - If you need help with that, I'm happy to be a buddy for you. I've never been part of an on-line forum, so you may need to help me out there. :) I didn't realize my journal entries were public - and let me tell you, they are not going to be for the faint of heart. LOL I look forward to working together!!! We can BEAT THIS BULDGE!
