At work and already being treated poorly by my nemesis but I take the high road. I try to be friendly to her but she is unpleasant. She got angry because yesterday in an open conversation, I offered the answer to a question. Like really? I just try to stay in my 'corner' literally now that I got moved again.

Hopefully she’s not your boss. Is she going through a divorce now? That makes people really prickly for months. Also I have noticed that most women entering menopause are cranky and irritable because of hormone fluctuations and physical discomfort. Then there’s the type of person that has been reprimanded by management for messing up, so anyone that has better (or correct) solutions is a threat to their job. It’s not likely you, Wisteria, but rather your co-worker’s self preservation.💚

@JustBananas She's the manager but the bosses' wife said I don't need to worry about my job. The boss and his wife own the business but the manager steps on our throats. Her husband is disabled and she seems unhappy, post menopause. It has been a prickly few months here.
