Day 3 calorie counting and working out. Promised myself I would avoid the daily temptation of the bathroom scale. Reminding myself it's not about how fast I get there but making it across the finishing line.

I hear you! It’s super tempting to weigh every day but I remind myself that I will feel terrible afterwards and that I’ll struggle to maintain my motivation. I’m taking all the right actions to achieve good results and I need to trust myself and be patient and I also know that while I train during the week my sore muscles retain a lot of water so I weigh only on Mondays after a rest and recovery to avoid heartbreak 💔 😂
It also helps me to keep myself in check over the weekend regarding eating because I don’t want to risk not losing a bit of scale weight. I measure every Monday as well in case the scale doesn’t show a change.
It’s the tiny things we have to do to motivate ourselves not to self-sabotage and until good healthy behaviours become normal versus self-destructive ones.
