Lovely ladies, of the fatsecret community.. do you see your weight balloon at the time of the month? Do you get bloated and see your abdomin swell?/ I'm trying to figure out if the inexplicable gains is a temporary set back.

Oh yeah it's common so just hang out there for few days.. Usually around day 3 of period everything settles back and you should see weight going down.. There s chart online that you can find explaining how phase and hormones affect our weight troughout the cycle so look it up for more information but bottom line is that it's temporary water retention and it will go away, just keep it up with doing things as you are doing already

Thank you Nejach, I felt that might be the case, even though it seems counterintuitive to experience loss but gain weight. So bizzare... but it you are absolutely right!
