Too much salt in the breakfast sausage today. I had to get rid of it--could literally feel myself "blowing" up. Funny how sensitive I'm getting to "too much" of anything. I guess that is a good thing. Lots of water today to flush out the junk. Sure noticed the uptick on the scale - yikes.

What do you mean you had to get rid of it? I sure hope you are not hurting yourself by purging. If you just meant you drank lots of water to try to flush your system, it'll help, but you should be all over the water, every day anyhow... all processed meats, sausage, hotdogs, keilbasa, lunch meats, etc... very high in sodium... so go easy in that dept.

Oh no - never. I just meant got it out of the house! We actually took it back and got a refund - bought 4lbs thinking it would be better than frozen. But you're absolutely right all the processed meat make me retain water. I have been drinking water like a fool today!! Thnaks for checking in on me!

That is great that you could take it back! I mainly eat real meat these days, less additives and junk. Good on you with the water intake!

@squigg, when I read your comment the first thing that popped into my head was "real meat? as opposed to fake meat? ha ha" but when I thought about it, I used to eat lots of things that could not really be considered meat, lol! Hot dogs, bologna & Vienna sausage are things I used to eat without even thinking about what was in them. Hooray for all of us for making this effort to pay better attention to what we put in our bodies.
