Just thinking aloud today...I wonder if there is ANY correlation between the fact MOST people tell me weekends are MORE difficult "food plan-wise" AND the fact it SEEMS (no REAL data) that there is significantly LESS activity on Fat Secret on Weekends? Your ideas/opinions? Thanks in advance for sharing. :)

I think it's also that a lot of people are tied to their desks and to their routines during the week. Weekends tend to be free form.

I'm retired, so every day is a weekend... Everyday is tough.

I agree with Northernmusician. Hopefully a lot of people are out doing activities and I know some people will have one weekend day as their cheat day.

I try and log everyday. I dont go to gym on weekends though since i go every nite. I se the weekends for me time and cooking ahead for the week and i dont use it as reason to cheat. But I think its depends on each individuals lifestyle and how busy they are

I agree with Norhternmusician. ... For most people with a job during the week, long commute perhaps, so they don't eat a good breakfast. They eat a huge Supper. which isn't good in my opinion, but they burn more calories during the week, working, running around, driving... On the weekend they eat the same diet and pattern, but perhaps don't do as much? Or, they tend to indulge on the weekend, since they've been in famine mode all week? I hate to sound like a broken record (does anyone know what that means anymore? :) ) but We NEED a huge breakfast. Break-Fast, we've been fasting all night; and Breakfast was always the biggest meal of the working day 100 years ago. Then Lunch was called Dinner, and the evening meal was Supper, a snack. Even when I was a kid, hardly anyone was fat. (I'm 71). Most people I knew back then were not fat, but they were out of shape. Side note: > So, today with people carrying around to much extra weight now, the average person could very well be in better shape than they were back then? :)

For me workkdays through the week are more structured and in that sense I have less control over the course of the day. I also usually bring what I plan to eat and it's easier to stay on course with that limitation providing I don't give in to crap that is sometimes available there. Weekends are less structured and generally more of an opportunity to relax a bit...that relaxing can often include relaxing in my food choices and indulging in a stuff that throws me off track. When I had more weight to lose I could adjust for it better through the week. At this point with the easiest pounds lost there's less wiggle room in how much I can go off track and get by with it. As far as being less active online over the weekend that's mostly because I have other stuff to do, am no sitting a my desk like at work, AND I get in trouble w/ the wife if I'm on the computer or tablet too much when I'm home. :)
