Last night was a bit of an improvement. I drove for an hour after work to avoid the drama at home. But I got home and he was watching tv. He said he is very scared about finances and waiting for his job to pick up. But then if you're worried about money why would you want to jack the credit card debt to the top to buy a big rig and trailer?!?

He didn't see a text that I sent at 4pm until this morning. I had wanted to watch a movie with him last night but since he didn't read my message I kept it to myself. I did the rest of his laundry so he was grateful about that.

I cooked a little supper and we ate together. The show he was watching had, "Can't you see" by the Marshall Tucker band on and I mentioned that I don't like that song because of memories of my ex bf. I started crying thinking about being at a concert with my ex in 2017 and that song playing. Wayne got up and consoled me and said he understood those moments. And he said that the argument at 1am the night before was him being triggered by bad memories. He said, "I may never get over it but I want to try." I cried on his shoulder.

I never did sit with him on the couch. I did my chores and told him I was mentally exhausted and went to bed. He came to bed and we kind of cuddled and went to sleep. One day at a time...
