sounds like fun. did you get any yet? 

Oh yeah we knock em down on a grand scale my freezer will be packed there is 7 of us an we have killed and trapped about 40.Today is an off day gonna rest and fish a little still have another week to go then back to my mountain and reality

Sounds like you're hunting feral pigs. Hope y'all get another 40, they are everywhere and so destructive.

shirfleur1 we are wild hogs on private land helping out a longtime farmer friend.he has a few thousand acres of livestock and crops if ya don't keep them jn check they will destroy everything.they will rebound fast after this cull so very hard to keep controlled 

Rene adams we are doing fine gonna settle into a nice lunch and go back this evening to catch some catfish for supper 

Nice, get rid of them all its amazing how dats they reproduce and the destructionthey cause! What methods have you been using to take them? I'm assuming it's some form of guided hunt  

No guided hunts we are intimate with the property.we use steel cage baited traps, tripod shooting houses,and some stalking.I am not a fan of night hunts especially with kids they wander and with the high caliber rifles to drop the big pigs people get nervous.we also use dogs to bay and then catch dogs to handle them for ones we want to keep and castrate and feed for the winter months finish them on corn and acorns then harvest.during calving season they kill and eat the calfs so we have to protect his lively hood $1000's a calf hurts when ya start losing money to keep the lights on
