What do you grow in your garden? At the rate food is increasing in price, a garden makes sense. Right now I'm only doing herbs (rosemary, mint, oregano, basil).

Thanks everyone! JB my fiancé grows all kinds of stuff both in the yard and in hydroponics systems. It doesn’t necessarily save money but it makes him happy and it’s nice to have the freshest possible food. In the salad is a homegrown tomato, cucumber, and miscellaneous baby lettuces, kales, bok Choy, and herbs.

You are so fortunate to have such fantastically fresh food at your doorstep. I’m not gonna say you’re “lucky” because I know there was no luck involved just tons of hard work for you and JB

@Muguscanook: Well, it's sort of luck, as I live in SoCal, and we have warm weather and Farmers Markets year round. The herbs I grow are in pots (exception is the rosemary, which is a big bush) and they just need minimal attention. Cindy's fiancé has got a full-on hobby going, and that IS a lot of work.

Yes my fiancé works very hard at growing! Maybe later I’ll share some garden pics

We are also lucky to live in Florida. It’s too hot to grow some things, but freezing is never a problem
