What eating plan are you following?

@Jaxanne Nothing at the moment, just tracking calories, fiber and protein! There’s no plan 🤦‍♀️

That can work sometimes, but why don't you look into something low carb? I do believe it's healthier than low fat diets and works well for most people who want to lose weight. Most who try low carb or keto find they automatically eat less calories because they're less hungry most of the time. I know there's a few people here on FatSectret who follow plans like this and are very successful

If you loose about 200 to 500 grams of weight then you good. That's healthy weight loss. Rather feed your self correctly over period of time and stay full of energie for walks and exercise.

@Jaxanne I’ve considered low carb, but my husband has cholesterol issues so we try to avoid too much fatty foods too.

@Leanne @Stanley yes I focus on the caloric deficit but it’s not always perfect. Maybe I need to increase my exercise…

I won't advise against exercise, but you'll find it doesn't make much difference to your weight. Have a look for a book called The Great Cholesterol Con by Dr Malcolm Kendrick. Cholesterol isn't the villain the medical industry would have you believe it is

Honestly you can’t go wrong by just increasing your veggies to double the portion. You’ll need a certain amount of lean protein too, depending on how much you exercise and what your goals in that are, but you’ll automatically just eat less carbs like this, and just skip all the sauces. Of course you can add some balsamic vinegar or soy sauce, but skip all dressings, sauces, etc and eat more veggies and lean protein you’ll be in a caloric deficit quite quickly!
