It’s a soy product. Made from fermented soybeans. I’ve never tried it but would like to.

It’s so good! Marinaded in soy or chili sauce, then fried to make it warm and crispy 😋 I can’t get enough at the moment

Tempeh is lovely stuff! For those of you who haven't tried it, there are a lot of ways to fix it, and it feels/tastes like a "meatier" meat substitute to me than tofu. We fry tempeh in stir fries or I'll cut it into chunks and roast it in the oven with a little oil. I've found tempeh works better if you steam it for 10 minutes first before frying or roasting
