Back on the bandwagon. I am currently trying Noom to see what it's all about but because I have an android, rather than an iPhone, im not able to utilize all of the functions others have. I have had excellent success on fatsecret previously, until life circumstances changed and I went back to old habits for years... ruining all my hard work. I keep telling myself I already know how to do this, I've done it before, I just need to put those words into action.

So it doesn't show on FS but I am down 6lbs from my highest weight ever which is a great start. I'm making those important changes to my diet, balancing healthy options and calorie intake. I have not gotten back into exercise. Honestly, at this weight my body already hurts like crazy after a 12hr shift as a RN, I dread the idea of pushing it harder. But that's an excuse, I can use the pool at rec center for low impact, or even start incorporating a walk in the evenings. Exercise was a large part of my success previously, and maybe not for the calorie deficits but for my mental health and commitment not just to weight loss but to fitness. I need fitness goals.

So thanks for listening, if you've made it this far through my incessant rambling lol. I'm going to commit to Journaling on all the days I'm not working to keep myself accountable.

Here's to beginnings.
