Happy Sunny Svelte Sunday! 🌞🌷

I'm a little disappointed in myself for going over my RDI yesterday (it doesn't happen often😞)

but I'm also pleased with myself for adding extra exercise minutes (54 min total cardio/strength💪).

Disappointed that I actually gained a half pound this week (it doesn't happen often😞)

but pleased that my measurements have improved since last month (lost 1.5 inches at waist & 2.5 inches at hips👍)

And so our journeys go....2 steps forward, 1 step back. I got to thinkin this morning, "What's the rush? Why am I in such a doggone hurry to get to my target weight?" Maybe it's just to prove to myself that it can be done! and it WILL be done!! I have no doubt in my mind that I will EVENTUALLY reach my goal weight.
And then it will be a LIFELONG challenge/adventure to find the balance to MAINTAIN a healthy weight and fitness level.

So, pulling myself back to take a longer, broader view of my achievements thus far...this little stinkin half a pound gain this week is just not that bigga deal😎

And so it is for ALL of us here, whether we're striving to lose or for gainz, I urge you to take a minute today to look back in your records and celebrate the differences OVERALL. Take another look at some older photos of yourself and how much healthier you look (and FEEL) than when you were heavier. What kind of activities are you able to do today that you could NOT do while you were heavier?
Is your overall Quality of Life improved?

I'm SO happy to say that MINE IS!! Thank you Lord🙏 Thank you my FS family💙

I only bought Jif when you couldn’t get Skippy during the beginning of the pandemic. Now, I buy neither because my sandwiches with peanut butter are just two way high in calories!😔 But, I do love peanut butter, an unrequited love for Wifey.🥲😁

I am happy to see the sugar comparisons. I base my selections on sugar. I aim for zero but near zero is wonderful. I watched a documentary regarding sugar. It stuck with me. It was a young athletic man eating same amount of calories per day for many months of minimal sugar and then with high sugar. His body transformed (belly) his labs were impacted negatively, his skin looked terrible, his sleep was affected, and his overall behavior. Then he returned to his normal eating and within months he returned to his norm. What a documentary. Since, I am very cautious about sugar ( added versus natural per food item)

@buenita...I agree that the texture is definitely different in the powdered, but it also makes a big difference in how much water is added. Even just a few drops more or less completely changes the texture. I have become used to both the texture and taste now....LOVE IT💙
