Just some reflection:
I was just looking through my roommate's pictures on Facebook and saw one of me at Steak and Shake. You know... I used to go there EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. It didn't matter if I went by myself or with my roommate, I was always there. I would get a double steakburger, fries, and a shake that on its own was more than 1000 calories.
How could I live like that and not hold myself accountable for how destructively I was treating my body? No wonder I couldn't walk around with Chris without feeling exhausted. No wonder I never went to the gym with Elizabeth last semester. I was a wreck physically, and emotionally too, because it was so hard to be away from Chris.
This past month has been great all around for healing. My body feels better. I have more stamina, more endurance. My mind is occupied by my busy schedule, so I don't mope all the time.
I feel better.
