Tried hearts of palm spaghetti! Made shrimp scampi with butter, garlic, lemon, red pepper flakes, grape tomatoes, and shrimp. The hearts of palm definitely taste like canned artichoke hearts and have a good texture. Trying red sauce and parm next time!

That looks wonderful! If you're going to try red sauce next time, try the Hunt's Garlic & Herb pasta sauce. It's the lowest calorie, lowest sugar I can find. And it's delicious and cheap!

How I Smoke a Turkey Heat your propane smoker to 325 degrees F. Cook uncovered turkey with mesquite wood chips until internal temp of 165 degrees F. Wrap in foil and transfer turkey to an empty ice chest (breast down) and let it rest for two hours.

Nannyhoney I used canned hearts of palm spaghetti from Costco! It definitely tastes briney like canned or bottled artichoke hearts in water. I rinsed them but the briney flavor stayed, so just didn't add salt. Garlic, butter pepper, etc in decently large quantities made it work. If I dried it out more with paper towels it would have helped as they are very wet out of the can. The 2nd day leftovers were better than the first. Filled me up for lunch for sure ! 😋 Definitely not for anyone who doesn't like the taste of canned artichoke hearts, because they are very briney and somewhat firm even after pan cooking.
