Good advice, but how many of us could actually only eat 10 M&Ms? Oddly enough...that's something I have been able to do successfully. I count them out into an adorable little ramekin, write it in my calorie log and enjoy the heck out of all 10 of em! Cuz I know that I can maybe have 10 more (if I eat healthfully the rest of the day) and I could actually do this EVERY day, if I chose to...as long as I make good choices with my meals ✌👍 Just use moderation & portion control, right?

not me but the grapes would give you more bang for the calories!

@polly...the grapes are DEFINITELY satisfying! The first few months I was here on FS I relied on them as my 'go to' snack (and hard-boiled eggs). I don't make a regular habit of having candy every day...I was just trying to make the point that one COULD technically have treats everyday if they are factored into the totals.

Crystal I wish there were more members like you on FS. My profile is private and my journey is not like many others on FS. I have a few mobility issues and sadly picked up a walker a few weeks ago. I so much appreciate others who have lost weight and look to a healthier body not always centered on exercise/workout/cardio. Even though I am private there are many members like myself who connect offline. If you want to join in just reply "yes".

Crystal, my candy downfall used to be gummies or jelly beans. I have gotten to a point I can eat a limited amount. I find it harder to only eat a few chips or nuts. For that reason I usually add them to something else...nuts on a salad or on top of yogurt....chips as a side to a sandwich.

SherryeB ...My downfall has always been those sour gummy candies. I find it easier to pass up chocolate candies. Your food posts always look delicious.

Yes Sherrye...I agree that salty things are harder for me to self-limit. I, again turn to my trusty little ramekins to help the portion 'look' larger 😉😂

@mermee...I have only recently begun to exercise more, thanks to Letty's Zumba class. I will be adding small weights to her workouts in the coming week and see how my inflammation handles it...wish me luck!💪

I no that's right Crystaljo!!! because I do the same thing I count 10 of them and put the bag away and enjoy them, there was a time in my life were I would eat the whole bag, but thank God that's not me anymore and I'm glad about it. Much love to you and enjoy your day.

one of my favorite things I miss (besides friends) in our old office building is that they had a gumball machine with peanut m&m's in it. you would get 5 for a quarter and that was 45 calories if I remember. perfect amount.
