Absolutely. I just started counting calories last week and I was taking 100 unites of insulin a day (55 at night, 45 in the am). I've already had to drop my insulin to 40 at night and 34 in the morning! I was so excited today when my blood sugar dropped to 64! I've never seen a drop in my blood sugar like this...it makes the everything worth it:-)! You can do this!
