Bad day yesterday. Of them I know too well! I got up feeling wiped yesterday. Everytime I'd try to do simple housework, I got this general malaise and feeling of lethargy. I couldn't even negotiate the stairs without being out of breath. I have a friend who says that what I get is migraines. I always thought that migraines were very bad headaches. But she says it's more than that. This is coupled with extreme high humidity and hot flashes! This in turn really depresses me, as I have goals and things to do!

On good days my energy levels are so so. This is one reason I've been looking for a healthy lifestyle. To feel reenergized. But even by quitting the processed foods, eating well, exercising, I can't say I've seen a stellar improvement. But at least I know I'm not doing myself any harm.

After aspirin, I went for my favorite analgesic. Red fermented grapes in a green Californian bottle, rented two movies and stayed put the evening. It does help tremendously. It just will stall my weight loss.

So be it. I'd decided to weight in daily, but I'll go very low cal today.

This low energy thing has been the plague of my life....It's terrible when you don't have energy to deal with your daily inbox. This feeling of always feeling tired.

"The transition to menopause, known as perimenopause, takes from two to five years and affects each woman differently. Some breeze through, while others suffer symptoms including flushes, vaginal dryness, insomnia, forgetfulness and mood swings. Studies have shown women who have a good diet and exercise regularly suffer fewer menopausal symptoms. Avoid sugar and reduce caffeine and alcohol. Introduce or increase phytoestrogen-rich foods such as soya sprouts, alfalfa, green beans, split peas, olives, soybeans, miso, tempeh (fermented soy) and chickpeas." That's an article I read. So as you see your bottle of wine should be down sized to a glass and you should eat a lot of soy products
