So lately I’ve had extremely dry lips and my skin hasn’t been in the best condition. I’ve been applying countless lip balms, night lip treatments, moisturizers, everything you can think of, to my face and lips and it helped a little, but not much. However, I think I finally figured out what might be the cause! I got the idea after I was eating some sugar free, high fiber chocolate frosting yesterday and some of the unmixed powder got onto to my lips and it felt kinda dry (I’m impatient so I started eating before it was completely mixed in lol). I looked it up and my suspicions were confirmed. I eat an ungodly amount of fiber each day, and fiber sucks up water. So in other words, if I want to keep eating that much fiber, I have to seriously up my water intake. So ever since yesterday I’ve been chugging water and I can already see a difference! Thank God because I thought I had a disease or something 😭
