For lunch today I tried a veggie burger for the first time and actually it wasn't bad.

I really like them, and if meat rises above veggie-burger's cost I will switch.

I use the Walmart brand. they're not bad with better protein. Aldi has little protein but they're black bean is really good. Walmart is 16g per patty.

Beyond meat is amazing and soy free and gluten free as well which is healthier. They also have seasoned sausages! Trader Joe’s has inexpensive plant based and soy free turkey burgers too that are easy to cook.

Beyond meat is little better for health than a beef patty, still plenty of fat, more carbs and sodium. Gluten free is good for people with Celiac disease. If you eat packaged gluten free you are probably worse off than regular products
