You are strong! Remind yourself of all you've accomplished: stopped smoking and drinking? That's a big deal! And you just moved? Be easy on yourself going into this next phase of your health and fitness project - you have proven you have what it takes to succeed. Let go of doubt!

"All of you are doing so great"
A lot easier to report success than struggle, so one side is much more visible. It's undeniably hard sometimes to find motivation and keep trucking, but it can be done. Don't give up.

Oh Claire, the last couple years have been so rough for you. Hang in there, lady! ❤️ I'm so glad to hear you are in a nice place and the substances that aren't good for you are out of your system. Girl, you have absolutely succeeded at this before and have kept off a big bunch of that evidence of success for a long time. You absolutely know what works for you, but I understand it is so hard. If it was easy, we still wouldn't be here years later! Hugs to you! ❤️

Don't sell yourself short Clair, look at all you've acomplished. These are stressful times and I've also been struggling and have gained back some weight. But we both know how to do this and I'm right here with you. We can do this, one day at a time, one meal at a time. The only way we can fail is by quiting, and we are not quiters. Let's step back on the path, right now. 💜💚💛

I've been there, quitting smoking I gained soo much. And I just gave up at that point. And I gained a ridiculous amount. I really wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to give up. So I'll tell you! You got this and you CAN do it!

Drink lots of water. Quitting smoking is absolutely the hardest thing ever. Find something else to occupy your time when you feel the urge. Don't give up!

U got this. I felt the same way after quitting smoking. Thought all there was, was food. Now I figure out that it’s all the carbs and sugar I was eating and drinking.
Take it day by day, I know u got this..

Take is slow. Just stick with it, even if you have bad eating days. Your body is adjusting & needs time. I have a tendency to want the weight to be gone yesterday, which would be nice, but have worked on changing my thinking to what it will be like a year from now. My experience has been it happens sooner which is always a nice surprise. Cut yourself some slack & hang in there—you’ve got this!☀️

Don't beat yourself up over this. And don't take it too seriously. One accomplishment at a time. 0ne pound down then revel in the accomplishment and then keep doing what you are doing. The secret is to know what you are doing, acknowledge it, then keep doing it. Do concern yourself with how fast you are losing. You will get there. Just stick with it and stay consistent. Have fun with it.

Don't feel so bad - and not everyone is doing great. I'm not. It sounds like you are doing lots of things right so be happy about those things. The eating will eventually be where you want/need it to be. With me, I know I have to be committed in my brain or it's just a good day then a bad day. And right now my brain just doesn't have it. But I keep trying.

Clair you are a VERY STRONG lady! You were strong enough to give up alcohol, move across the country and stop smoking - those are MAJOR accomplishments!! Find the eating and activity plan that works for YOU and stick with it as best you can. You WILL be successful in weight management too, just remember to be patient with yourself.
