TayTay215's Journal, 13 June 2014

I'm freaking out about what I eat and how often I eat and everything and I realize I hardly eat much for lunch and then dinner I eat at like 8 and then I go to bed at 10:30-12:00ish and it doesn't make me feel any better even when I record my food and my workouts and my workouts show me that I've worked off the food and more. I weigh in every Sunday and I'm really scared that when I weigh myself Sunday morning I'll have not lost and I might have gained.

Girl, please don't stress so much about it and focus on the mission at hand here! I've heard of so many stories where the person overly worries themselves to the point they can't take it anymore and lose control. Your losing weight, now if you could lose that 5lb already which would take 1 whole month for a person like me to do, then you know you can do it. You got this! AM I NOT RIGHT?!! *waves hands in the air*

Well um, I actually lost 10. I had recorded my weight wrong. I'm trying my best but normally it takes me like six months to lose ten pounds so... It's better than usual. Plus I have hypothyroidism so if I don't take my medication regularly I can't lose weight like, at all.

Ok, breathe =) Sit down and make a plan. First on the list- take medicine right ;-) Second on the list- log all food here. Just focus on getting healthy and doing this right. The weight will come off if you are taking your medicine and logging your food. I know you have a really hard path to deal with. My brother in law had graves disease and they had to nuke his thyroid to save his life, so now he constantly fights this battle with his weight. Calories in - calories out is not going to be as close a science for you (which is why those work outs aren't helping as much as you know they should be) and that sucks, but it's just the way it is. Make sure you are working with your doctor closely and be proud you are doing this. I know it's frustrating, but loosing 10lbs is wonderful and if you keep at it the rest will come off. ~*hugs*~

Haha, I don't really go to the doctor often. I'm generally healthy. I log everything I eat & what I do to work out.
